Onimusha: Warlords, released in Japan as Onimusha(鬼武者?), is an action-adventure video game and the first entry of the Onimusha series, released first for the PlayStation 2 in 2001. Later it was released in an updated form as Genma Onimusha(幻魔 鬼武者?) for the Xbox in 2002. The original Onimusha: Warlords version was also ported to Microsoft Windows, although this version was only.

There are three steps you must follow to reach the Phantom Realm. First, you must play as a human character, and not a demon. Second, you cannot use any continues. Instead, after he has the orb, hit him by holding R1 and pressing Triangle. His sword should fly up, and the orb should float away from him. While he is stumbling from the hit, quickly absorb the orb then use the magic attack by holding R1 and pressing Triangle. Try repeating this process. Also, you can charge up your weapon by holding R1 and Square for four to five seconds.
